um estudo em uma empresa de confecção
Abstract
As business organizations have been increasingly charged to act aimed at sustainable development, assuming economic, environmental and social responsibilities. In this sense, it is necessary to search for new practices both by society and by companies that aim at the well-being that generates an exchange between both, as well as local development. This article aimed to identify whether the sustainable practices of a confectionery company can contribute to local development and whether new actions can be analyzed that reduce the environmental impacts of its production processes. For this purpose, a structured questionnaire was used to obtain information from the clothing company located in the municipality of Nova Andradina. The results reveal: a) the opportunity to apply the various concepts of sustainability in the company under study in order to improve its development, as well as the development of the region; b) possibility to take into account the perception of managers regarding barriers, process characteristics and critical success factors for their company, as well as sustainable practices of which it does not yet have full knowledge.
