Abstract

This article addresses the training of teachers for hospital classes, highlighting the challenges and proposals to ensure inclusive and effective education in hospital environments. The article also analyzes curriculum reformism in Brazil, including the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education (LDB) and the National Common Curriculum Base (BNCC), which aim to promote more inclusive education. The implications of these reforms in teacher training are discussed, emphasizing the need for continuous training and institutional support. This research discusses the importance and challenges of training teachers to work in hospital classes, highlighting the need for an inclusive education adapted to the specificities of students undergoing health treatment. The text starts from the context of curricular reforms in Brazil, analyzing how these changes impact the teaching performance in hospital environments and proposing ways for the qualification of these professionals. To overcome the challenges, practical proposals are presented, such as training courses, interdisciplinary workshops, and public policies that recognize and value the work of educators in hospital classes. Suggestions for future research include studies on the continuing education of teachers, comparative analyses between practices in different regions of Brazil, and investigations on the experiences of students attended in these classes. In summary, the article highlights the importance of adequate training for teachers who work in hospital classes as a fundamental element to guarantee the right to education and health of students, contributing to their reintegration into the school environment after periods of treatment.
