TURISMO PEDAGÓGICO: PRÁXIX, GEOGRAFIA E EDUCAÇÃO
Abstract
Tourism as a socio-spatial phenomenon has been approached by several areas of knowledge that seeks to understand its dimensions and interactions. In this case, Geography could not help contributing to the tourist phenomenon that operates in consumption, in the (re) production of space and in the transformation of the landscape. However, it is necessary to analyze in a systematic way the intersection between tourism in a geographical approach, as well as, to emphasize the contributions of studies with socio-spatial character that came to contribute in the dynamics of these two areas, in an educational aspect, being able, thus, to induce as interdisciplinary practice at school, being treated as pedagogical tourism. The initial considerations, obtained with the work, lead us to think that the teachers who support the activities related to pedagogical tourism will have support to identify the advances and/or difficulties of their students, in relation to the school contents taught in the Geography classes, as well as to make the students more attentive to the spatial issues of the society in which they are inserted.
