MORTALIDADE POR LÚPUS ERITEMATOSO SISTÊMICO NO ESTADO DE MATO GROSSO DO SUL – BRASIL, NO PERÍODO DE 1996 A 2018
Abstract
A long time, geography and medicine go together in their studies, contributed to the understanding and spatial distribution of disease. This study aimed to analyze mortality by Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) in Mato Grosso do Sul, in the period 1996-2018. So, conducted a literature review about theme, using the database of DATASUS system. In the analyzed period, it was found that mortality in MS it was higher in the white population (43.30%), in the population aged 20-44 years old (58.62%) and in the micro-region where the state capital, Campo Grande (15.33 / 100,000) is located hab.). Then, it is considered that environmental factors, as the socioeconomic condition, are related to the onset and clinical manifestations of SLE and, because the scarcity of studies in Mato Grosso do Sul, it is suggested that from, this more specific work could be performed later.
