A RECONCILIAÇÃO CONSIGO MESMO POR MEIO DA ANGÚSTIA

The aim of this article is to present and reflect on Kierkegaard's concepts in light of Bergman's film Wild Strawberries. I propose a philosophical reading through the lens of the Danish author's concepts of anguish, human despair, and existence and finitude. Kierkegaard is the appropriate choice for this dialogue, since he repeatedly states that he writes for the singular individual. Cinema directly reaches the individual in his singularity through the involvement of all the senses; the emotion of a scene does not affect all viewers in the same way and intensity. The article is divided into four parts. The first part presents a brief presentation of the theme and objectives. The second part presents brief notes to present the central ideas of Kierkegaard's philosophy. The third part presents a reading of Isak's memories and dreams through the lens of Kierkegaard's concepts. I conclude with some personal considerations on the concepts addressed throughout the work.
