SEXUALITY AND PSYCHOANALYSIS AS CULTURAL FORMS IN MICHEL FOUCAULT’S THOUGHT IN 1964
Abstract
In the present work we intend to shed light on te way um whitch the themes of psychoanalysis and sexuality came to occupy the mind of the philosopher Michel Foucault during the year 1964, on the occasion of the presentation of the course Sexuality at Clermont-Ferrand University. Through a theoretical-conceptual explanation, we aim to point out proximity and differences in the thought of the 1964 course in relation to the works The Order of things, from 1966, and History of sexuality: the will to know, from 1976. To this end, we sought to focus in the theoretical position developed around the concepts of interdiction, transgression, cultural form, device, negativity and epistemic.
