Reflexões ecológicas

Abstract

Objective: To analyze the scientific productions about the traditional community in Brazil, focused on health and related ecological reflections. Method: This is an integrative review respecting its six phases. The databases consulted were: MEDLINE, LILACS, SCIELO and Capes Periódicos Portal. The descriptors used were "Traditional Communities", "Traditional Communities" and "Health". For the selection of the articles, studies were selected in the last ten years, with full texts, which portrayed the theme regarding the discussion of the health of this population. Results: The final review sample consisted of eight scientific articles, selected by inclusion criteria previously established. Conclusion: Based on the survey on health research in the traditional community in Brazil, we can see few scientific productions that deeply address issues of subjectivity, health, symbolic values ​​and community relations.
