Abstract
The present work is about the evidence of the possible results from the use of textometry as a tool for the analysis of representations and social interactions in a social network on concrete facts. At the same time, the exercise carried out serves as an example to understand precisely the reactions of a population around an economic and public health policy, taking into account that the analysis carried out was on data collected from Twitter through the hashtag #diasiniva in the framework of a series of measures taken by the Colombian government in the first phase of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. This research is of a qualitative nature, seeking to use the Iramuteq software to understand the general feeling of the Colombian population regarding a certain policy in a specific time of crisis. The tool produces graphs that allow an analysis in a simple way on large volumes of information.
