CONSTRUCTION OF AN AUTOMATED TOTEM FOR EDITING TEMPERATURE AND HYGIENE FOR THE MUNICIPAL SCHOOLS OF NAVIRAÍ.
Abstract
The world is currently facing a pandemic caused by the new coronavirus (SARS- COV2) with a great impact also in Brazil. The document Biosafety Manual for reopening schools in the context of covid-19 was released on July 24, 2020, by the Escola Politécnica de Saúde Joaquim Venâncio (EPSJV/Fiocruz), with suggestions for standards and guidelines for the resumption of classes. Among the suggested measures are: the designation of an isolation area for suspected cases of covid-19; the installation of dispensers with 70% alcohol gel and temperature measurement at the entrances, circulation areas, and classrooms. For this it is important to produce alcohol gel 70% dispensers and body temperature gauges. The opportunity that presents itself is to propose an action that simultaneously: 1. makes the students of the municipal schools of the city of Naviraí aware of the problems of COVID-19, as well as its main prophylactic measures. 2. empowers these students with some tools of the MAKER culture, such as Arduino, modeling and 3d printing, and programming. 3. with this goal to provide workshops on the production of 70% alcohol dispenser totes with integrated body temperature reader, aimed at young people from the municipal education network.
