Social Balance: Analysis of the Social Indicators of a Brazilian Company in the Clothing Sector
Abstract
The Social Balance evolves according to social needs and requirements, essential for understanding how organizations affect the social and environmental aspects. Since the greatest asset that an entity has are its employees and, therefore, the origin of the Social Indicators that determine the consequences of the companies' activities in relation to them. Given this perception, and due to the importance of the theme in the organizational context, this study aims to analyze the social indicators of a Brazilian company in the clothing sector, focusing on what refers to the productive workforce to its history in social actions . The methodology was carried out through a bibliographic and documentary review of published reports for the year 2018, and in an exploratory and explanatory way of the case study. Initially presents a brief description of the types of Social Balance; the presentation of the company's social indicators, demonstrating the social benefits and their particularities. Including carrying out a comparison between the guidelines proposed by the GRI and the report reported by the company. It was concluded that the company's social indicators are in compliance with the guidelines.
