DEMOCRACIA DELIBERATIVA

a governabilidade na Era da Informação

Abstract

Governability, in the times of the information age, especially in Brazil, presents new challenges to decision makers of organizations, whether private or public, in the face of the growing influence of cyberspace, in social, political and institutional contexts. Thus, this research aims to briefly analyze the relationship between the governability of the heads of the federal executive power and social and state engagement, in light of the increasingly growing uses of digital platforms, from the perspective of deliberative democracy. This is a qualitative-quantitative bibliographic research, which aims to analyze statistical data on internet access, users and approval surveys, as well as the socio-political dynamics between real life and cyberspace. It is expected that, at the end of this initial research, it will be possible to observe a relationship between the impact of governability of the federal executive and social engagement, on digital platforms, which overlap with the variables of digital engagement of the government and the groups in favor and of opposition, presenting the group that exerted the greatest influence on governance indicators. Collected data showed that most Brazilians have access to the internet and use the networks as the main source of information, and that digital political engagement, both of opposition and situation, was a relevant socio-political indicator in moments of popular mobilization experienced. by the presidents of the republic, since 2011.
