POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS DESENVOLVIDAS PELO GOVERNO DO ESTADO DE RONDÔNIA DE PROTEÇÃO E ENFRENTAMENTO À VIOLÊNCIA SOFRIDAS PELAS MULHERES
Abstract
This research is part of the Scientific Initiation Program PIBIC 2021/2022, whose work plan aims to verify the public policies developed by the Government of the State of Rondônia to protect women's rights and combat violence suffered by women. It is a descriptive, qualitative approach. As a result, it appears that this institution has difficulties in feeding the sites. The results show that violence against women occurs in different ways, such as threats, slander, defamation, injury, bodily harm, rape, rape of the vulnerable and femicide. According to data from the Secretary of State for Security, Defense and Citizenship (SESDEC-RO), there was a decrease in the number of victims of threat and slander in 2019 and 2020 compared to 2018. Women who are victims of defamation and injury there was a reduction in the number of victims in 2019 compared to 2018, but an increase in 2020 compared to 2019. Regarding rape, rape of vulnerable people and bodily harm, there was a representative increase, almost doubling. Regarding the age group in the period, women aged between 34 and 64 are the biggest victims of threats, slander, defamation, injury and femicide. Rape of vulnerable people have a higher number in the age group from 12 to 17 years old and the highest number of rapes occurred in the age group from 18 to 24 years old. The age group of women who suffered bodily injury has a higher incidence in the range of 18 to 24 years. In relation to ethnicity, white and black women are those who are threatened with domestic violence, slander, defamation, bodily harm. As for the ethnicity of the victims of rape of the vulnerable and rape, the highest incidence is of mixed race.
