UMA ANÁLISE SOBRE A ESTRUTURA NA CARTA, NO POEMA E NO FILME

Abstract

This essay deals with Ethnic-Racial Relations, aiming to analyze how the bodies of original and enslaved Brazilian peoples were, are seen and treated. Thinking about these questions is justified by the importance of understanding the formation of our society through reading and studying the works “Carta a el-rei Dom Manuel”, the poem “O Navio Negreiro” by Castro Alves, and the film/documentary “Quanto Vale ou é por Quilo?”, and from these readings to reflect on the influences on the bodies, that past structures are still managed today, which can show us a racist structure interpreted in the three documents mentioned above, where the theme of the objectification and commodification of the bodies of enslaved native peoples and vulnerable people, with a visible effect on the cosmological construction in childhood, where reflection on the teaching of pedagogy is necessary to overcome.
