Abstract

This work deals with cultural workshops as becoming formation: contributions to the critical formation of teachers. We want to explore the potentials of cultural workshops as a formative strategy for the development of a critical formation of teachers, considering their potentials for expanding teachers' worldview, critical reflection on pedagogical practices, and appreciation of cultural diversity in education. The school environment is a fundamental space for the construction of knowledge, values, and attitudes of students, and teachers are responsible for this integral formation. Therefore, it is important that teachers are prepared to deal with the cultural and artistic diversity that permeates today's society and stimulate in their students a reflective and critical stance in the face of the challenges of the contemporary world. In this sense, cultural workshops can significantly contribute to the development of a critical formation of teachers. This research is a narrative bibliographic review of descriptive-exploratory nature, aiming to "map" the main elements of the theme. Aspects of education, culture, and teacher training will be addressed through the theme of cultural workshops as becoming formation. The methodology consists of an analysis of studies already published on the subject, aiming to identify the main results and conclusions of previous research.
