Abstract

Abstract: This essay has as its theme the abuse of black bodies and the disdain of white men with the suffering of the enslaved black people of the time. With the objective of reflecting in a pedagogical way on the approaches of ethnic and “racial” relations within the educational environment, bringing with us the studies and analyzes of the following documents: the letter “Carta a El-rei Dom Manuel” by Pero Vaz de Caminha ; poem “O Navio Negreiro” by Castro Alves and the film “Quanto Vale Ou É Por Quilo??”. Bearing in mind these studies of documents, we took the proper question about the black body being objectified for the use of affines of whites, being violated and taken away from the total right in their bodies, consumed by the marginalization created from a cruel society that has developed since the beginnings of the discovery of Brazil and which can be seen since the present day, where a free people lives, but trapped by the roots of prejudice. Bringing this question in a pedagogical way, the power of social construction on the subject of ethnic and “racial” relations since childhood is evident, thus, it is concluded that this is one of the ways to obtain a future society that is more understanding of ethnicities, important educational policies in the school environment and awareness positions, mainly due to the fact that we are a completely mixed culture nowadays and taking all this into account, we conclude on the way to correct racism in our current scenario.
