NOTAS SOBRE AS CONFIGURAÇÕES DO RACISMO NAS PESQUISAS DA REGIÃO CENTRO-OESTE DO BRASIL
Abstract
Racism reflects negatively on society, since it uses the pseudo concept of races to dehumanize and hierarchize people. The objective of the present study (excerpt) is to present how the issues of race and racism appear in some theses and dissertations from the central-west region of Brazil. We used the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) as a field. The methodology, of a bibliographical nature, is supported by authors who thematize the issues of racism articulated with the field of education. The reflective challenge posed in this study is the need to understand that all people are part of the human race, formed by diversities that bring together differences. Therefore, the struggle must be to implement an education that seeks egalitarian (before the Law) and equitable (subjective and objective) coexistence in the different political, social and educational contexts, as indicated in the analyzed theses and dissertations.
