Foco e Escopo

Journal of Experimental Techniques and Instrumentation - JETI is a peer-reviewed, international journal published on behalf of the Postgraduate Program in Materials Science, Physics Institute of Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil.

JETI publishes the results of development of experimental apparatus for lab measurements or materials synthesis, studies related to the fundamentals of experimental techniques widely employed but sometimes employed and misused by students.

Papers on all aspects of the experimental techniques are welcome, including, but are not limited to, a variety of topics such as:

 

• Synthesis and sample preparation: powder preparation; colloidal science; chemical methods, physical methods; self-assembly; hybrid processes, etc.

• Characterization techniques: analytical; microscopy; scanning probes; nanoscopic; optical; electrical; magnetic; acoustic; spectroscopic; diffraction; etc.

• Instrumentation developments: Calibration, low cost apparatus, technical assemblies, electronic circuits, hyphenated techniques.

• Computer programs: source codes, microcontroller programs, computer interface with equipments, measurements programs, software for data analysis.
