MÉTODO HISTÓRICO NA HISTORIOGRAFIA ALEMÃ (1736-1913)
HISTORICAL METHOD IN GERMAN HISTORIOGRAPHY (1736-1913)

Resumo
Neste artigo, inventariamos os usos das palavras “método” [Methode], “metodologia” [Methodologie] e Methodik em impressos que veicularam reflexões metahistóricas em língua alemã, entre meados do século XVIII e início do século XX. Também verificamos as condições de possibilidade de tais designações terem se transformado em conceitos históricos na segunda metade do século XIX, em manuais de Teoria da História e de Metodologia da História empregados na formação universitária de profissionais da História.
