Abstract

In The Social Question, a chapter in the book On Revolution, Hannah Arendt analyzes the differences between the American Revolution (1776) and the French Revolution (1789) by presenting issues that, she believed, were central to one's success and the failure of the other. The purpose of this essay is to present the social question and the problem of the distinction between the public and the private from her analysis of the politics, the poverty and the misery, in order to, at the end, expose critics to this analysis, which has inevitably removed the problem of the social question from the range of solution of the political scope, that is, the public sphere.

Bacharel em Filosofia pela Universidade de Brasília (2018). Bacharel em Direito pelo Instituto de Educação Superior de Brasília (2013). Licenciatura em Pedagogia pela Universidade de Brasília (2006) com habilitação em Magistério para Início de Escolarização e Orientação Educacional.
