Abstract

The present work deals with presenting the perceptions of the consumer in the consumption of cosmetics, whether they are the attributes related to the attributes of the product, the perceived value, or the sensory perceptions coming from the human senses. The general objective of the study is to analyze what is the perceived value and what is the sensory perception of the consumers surveyed in relation to the consumption of cosmetics. To perform this study, the methodology used was the descriptive survey conducted online with 100 respondents. The price and packaging were selected as attributes of perceived value, and as characteristics of sensory perception the texture and odor of the product. The results of the research indicate greater relevance on the part of those surveyed in the aspects of price and texture, leaving in the background the packaging and odor in the purchase of cosmetics.
