Supervised internship report carried out in the accounting sector of an autarchy in the municipality of Bom Jesus da Lapa-BA

Abstract

This report has as its object supervised internship carried out in the accounting sector of SAAE, Autonomous Water and Sewage Service, municipal entity, headquartered in Bom Jesus da Lapa-BA, whose main attributions are the provision of basic sanitation and water supply services . The objective of this work is to report the experience, to build reflections on the theoretical-practical aspects and the area of ​​expertise, Public Accounting. That said, it is expected that this production can, in some way, contribute to improve the understanding of the importance of the internship in the undergraduate course in Accounting, and reinforce the relevance of knowledge and accounting techniques for the Public Administration and society as a whole. For this, a literature review and a description of the activities performed will be carried out, so that both the benefits provided by the internship, as well as the essential role that accounting has within a public entity, become visible to the reader. Finally, the text will present the results achieved with the experience in the autarchy, highlighting the contributions generated in the academic and professional scope.
