USO DO FLUXO DE CAIXA E SUA RELAÇÃO COM AS DIFICULDADES DE SOBREVIVÊNCIA PROVOCADAS PELA PANDEMIA (COVID-19)

Um estudo quantitativo realizado no mercado de pet shops em Juazeiro-BA

Abstract

Cash flow facilitates the organization's continuity, through consolidated planning, this tool provides the possibility for companies to achieve their goals and indicate the best path to follow. This study aims to analyze the relationship between cash flow and survival difficulties caused by the pandemic (Covid-19) in the pet shop segment in the city of Juazeiro - BA Methodologically, a quantitative, descriptive and survey-type research was carried out. The population consisted of 28 companies in the sector, with a sample of 28, but 6 refused. A questionnaire consisting of 17 closed and open questions was applied, divided into 4 sections: profile of managers; current characterization of the company; impacts of the pandemic on the company and financial measures taken during the pandemic. The results showed that, for most respondents, the use of cash flow contributed positively to the conduct of companies during this period.
