Abstract

With the aim of reviewing and rethinking the approach of the theory and history of architecture and urbanism disciplines, the PEG teaching project “keywords for thinking about architecture: anthology for debate” was proposed. The teaching project category was chosen precisely because it provides the exercise of orality, the direct confrontation with the learning difficulty and the opening to themes not contemplated in the traditional menus of the curricular structure of the architecture and urbanism courses. The methodology is based on the analysis of contemporary discursive practices, both recurrent in the field of architecture and urbanism and those that are present in the field of debate on art and society more broadly. The analysis structure used is organized in the form of keywords, arranged in semantic affinity groups, always considering the inflections that these words undergo over time in order to examine their relationship and current dynamics. The program consists of fortnightly classes, some with the participation of guests from other Institutions. The project has already developed more than half of the contents, which will be presented in the form of results.
