Christmas PET Action for the Home for the Elderly in Dourados - MS

Abstract

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the PET Engenharia Agrícola group, in partnership with the PET Agronomy and Zootechnics of the Federal University of Grande Dourados, developed the social action "PET Natalino" in favor of the Elderly Home in Dourados-MS, so that this campaign was carried out at the end of 2021, in order to meet the requests of the elderly on Christmas Eve. Due to the pandemic, the disclosure, as well as the invitation to collect, took place through digital media, such as Instagram, Facebook and emails.
The action included the collection of clothes, radios, cell phones, shoes and hygiene products. The sponsorship of the elderly took place through transactions via PIX or by delivering the order directly to the group. The social action was finally a success and all the elderly were sponsored, respecting the required biosecurity measures.
