Abstract

The present work aims to map the international scientific production related to University Social Responsibility, describing the main categories on the subject. For this, a bibliometric analysis of articles published between 2000 and 2021 will be carried out in the Web of Science and Scopus databases. This study is classified in terms of approach as quantitative, with a descriptive objective. The research universe comprised all publications indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus databases, accessed through the portal of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). The search was guided by the term “University Social Responsibility”, and publications from 2000 to 2021 were considered. After the exclusion criteria, 132 articles were obtained. As for the form of analysis, the study comprises simple content analysis. Microsoft Excel was used to tabulate the data. The results showed that there is a growing interest in researching the subject, which can be seen from the evolution of publications in recent years. It is noteworthy that the publications were published mainly in international journals, carried out mainly by European and Latin American researchers.
