TRENDS AND CHALLENGES IN THE IMPACT ASSESSMENT OF ADAPTATION PROGRAMS FOR CLIMATE MOVEMENTS

A PRISMA systematic review

Abstract

This study addresses the evaluation of methods for adapting agribusiness to climate change, using an exploratory and quantitative approach. Through a systematic literature review, 77 relevant articles were identified after rigorous screening. Key methods included economic, climate, integrated and global management assessment models. The results revealed a growth in scientific production over the years, with a strong contribution from countries such as the United Kingdom, the USA and the Netherlands. Recurring themes included carbon mitigation, integrated models and regional impacts. Author analysis highlighted influential leaders in research such as Detlef P. van Vuuren and Shinichiro Fujimori. It was concluded that, although there is a diversity of methods and approaches, there is a need for interdisciplinary collaboration and a search for sustainable adaptive strategies. The study emphasizes the importance of continuous model updates and a collaborative approach to addressing climate challenges in agribusiness.
