REFLEXÃO SOBRE OS DESAFIOS PARA INTERAÇÃO DE POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS EM SERVIÇOS PÚBLICOS DE SAÚDE

Abstract

This summary on the challenges for public policy interaction in public services and health resulted from reflection stemming from a process of critical-analytical observation, with involvement in public services. Thus, the general objective of this summary is to reflect on the reality of the public health service environment. Specifically, it established a comparison between the concepts expressed in scientific literature in order to promote conversion and interaction in the pursuit of improvements in public health services, in the face of challenges in public policy interaction. The methodology consisted of bibliographic research and inductive critical observation. The results highlighted the challenges for public policy interaction in public health services, which sometimes lead to the exclusion of users and/or those responsible in decisive processes, due to certain models of applied public management, compounded by limited resources. Furthermore, communication failures were observed among the various networks involved in the operationalization of public services, which shows that this management model does not reflect the interaction of public policies in public health services. It is concluded that managers must awaken in public management and professionals who work directly in health services to the effective pursuit of results through interaction between established public policies and the health service provided.
