Abstract

The present study aims to verify the degree of influence of the different leadership profiles on the motivation of the employees of the company Nutripar Ltda, located in the city of Dois Vizinhos, southwest of Paraná. The theoretical basis of the work deals with the themes of motivation and leadership. The work was carried out by quantitative, descriptive analysis, with technical procedures of case study. As a data collection instrument, a structured questionnaire by Zeferino (2008) was used to identify the motivational factors of Herzberg's Theory (1959), applied to employees, and another structured questionnaire by Marras (2009, p. 297-298), adapted by Aldá (2013), to identify the leadership profile. The population were the leaders and employees of the researched company. It obtained a sample of 26 respondents. Through the answers obtained, it was found that although the leadership profile is an important factor, it is not decisive in the motivation of the team.
