UMA BREVE COMPARAÇÃO DAS OBRAS QUANTO VALE OU É POR QUILO? (SÉRGIO BIANCHI, 2005) E AS IDEIAS FORA DO LUGAR (ROBERTO SCHWARZ, 2014)

Abstract

The aim of this review is present an analysis of the drama directed by Sérgio Bianchi, Quanto vale ou é por quilo? (2005), bringing a critical relation between the slavery in Brazil and the reality in the present days, and also alluding to Roberto Schwarz's book, As Ideias Fora do Lugar (2014), where the author brings reflections about principles of Political Economy from the free labor, also showing the scenario of our post-abolition country. By the analyzing of both works, is possible to perceive how much the legacies of the Brazil as colony are still strong in our current days and how much they still influence contemporaneity when it comes to political, economic and social issues. And in relation to the reconstruction of concepts, both works bring important perceptions in order for us become transforming agents in a racist society, which normalizes the exploitation of the workforce or human misery as a form of profit.
