CAPOEIRA ANGOLA E ENSINO DE ARTE NA ESCOLA

CRUZOS PARA A EDUCAÇÃO DAS RELAÇÕES ÉTNICO-RACIAIS.

Abstract

The objective of this expanded summary is to present the proposal for a doctoral research work, in progress, inserted in the scope of a school of the Municipal Public Network, in São José dos Campos/SP, with students from Elementary School II, Basic Education, having capoeira angola as its scope in art teaching, linking it to the notion of inclusion and crossing for the contribution to the right of students' school development in the Education of Ethnic-racial Relations. This study is justified by the need to make effective the application of Law 10.639/03 in the decolonization of the curriculum and pedagogical practices, as well as to make other forms of existence and knowledge more credible, based on actions carried out in the school routine organized in the curriculum of Art, having capoeira angola as one of these forms of Afro-Brazilian knowledge and sociability. Partially, the considerations to be made go in the direction of that, even in the face of the existence of legislation that guarantees the Teaching of African and Afro-Brazilian History and Culture in schools, the actions capable of generating significant changes must be expanded and driven continuously and transversal, in the curriculum, opening paths in the perspective of an inclusive anti-racist education, constituted from and constituting crossroads for the possibility of creating new training experiences and knowledge.
