UMA CONVERSA PELO PENSAMENTO DE WALTER BENJAMIN COM ALEXANDRE FERNANDEZ VAZ

Abstract

This text deals with a brief report referring to an interview given by Professor Alexandre Fernandez Vaz to the Research Group Education and Culture for Teacher Training-EduForP-UFMS-CNPq, led by Professor Doctor Christian Muleka Mwewa, professor at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (Postgraduate Program in Education-CPTL-FAED), and as interviewers the members of the group, doctoral student Julyana Sueme Winkler Oshiro Galindo (PPGE-FAED) and master's student Tânia Cristina Barreto de Souza (PPGE- FAED). The interview focused on Walter Benjamin childhood and the importance of experience for the constitution of subjectivity. It also addressed ethnic “racial” issues and the role of the adult (childhood education teacher) in these relationships, based on the thought of the German philosopher. The interview was divided into three blocks distributed as follows: first there were three questions; second, three more questions and for the last, only one question with perceptions and general comments from the interview and the interviewers. In conclusion, with the reflections carried out through the interview given by Vaz, mediating Benjamin thought, we can ask whether the teachers have a sensitive look to know the interests/thoughts of the children, the knowledge that is appropriated by them and the cultural elements of the social groups in which they are immersed.
