NOTAS SOBRE LITERATURA E DIVERSIDADES SOCIAIS
Abstract
The purpose of this ongoing summary is to reflect on how the children's literary book can be an important instrument in the search for representations of childhood and its ethnic, aesthetic and cultural identities, bringing it as a possibility of cultural and human formation in the Years Beginnings of Elementary School being a process of building bridges that break down with the racism present in Brazilian society. It is a qualitative research of a documental nature that appropriated the bibliographical analysis as an instrument and that had children's literary books as objects of study O Menino Nito, by Sonia Rosa, and Meu crespo é de Rainha, by bell hooks (in lower case so as not to show superiority), seeking to explore the contexts of the works in terms of ethnic and “racial” relations and the childhood, focusing on the importance of children's literature for the human and emancipatory formation of children in the school context and especially in the formation of teachers. We believe that children's literary books that bring social diversities open the way for more fruitful, sensitive and human experiences.
