IMPLEMENTATION OF THE TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL TRAINING ITINERARY IN THE STATE EDUCATION NETWORK OF PARAÍBA

Abstract

Law nº 13.415/2017 amended the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education, established a change in the structure of secondary education, defined a new curricular organization and the offer of Training Itineraries. The objective here is to explain the experience of implementing the Itinerary of Technical and Professional Training of the New High School in the State Education Network of the State of Paraíba. It is confirmed that improvements and adjustments can and should be discussed in relation to the implementation of the New High School, thus the dissemination of implementation practices becomes fundamental. The experience report is adopted as a theoretical-methodological proposal. The results indicate the potential for structured and planned practices and actions, such as training follow-up, the organization of pedagogical and administrative work, the production of didactic material and investment in the training of professionals involved in the process.

Cintia Medeiros Robles Aguiar, Secretary of Education of the State of Paraíba/Educational Supervisor

Master in Education (UFMS/2020). Specialist in Teaching for Professional and Technological Education (IFES/2023), School Management and Pedagogical Coordination (NOVOESTE/2021) and in Afro-Brazilian History and Culture (FBMG/2019). Graduated in Pedagogy (UFMS/2018). Technician in Human Resources (CEEP Widal Rome/2014). She is currently Educational Supervisor of New High School (PARAIBATEC-SEE/PB), student of the Doctorate in Education course (PPGEdu/FAED/UFMS) and member of the Research Group Training and Culture in Contemporary Society - (EduForp/CNPq). She was a teacher of Basic Education (SEMED-CG/MS 2020-2021/Exato Colégio e Cursos 2022-2023), Normal Medium (SED/MS-2020) and Qualifica Mulher Project (IFPB-2022).

Túlio Carlos Silva Antunes, Secretary of Education of the State of Paraíba/ Pedagogical Coordinator

Degree in History (2017) from the State University of Paraíba (UEPB). Master's student in History at the Graduate Program in History at the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG). He was a History teacher in the State Education Network of the State of Paraíba. He is currently Pedagogical Coordinator in the State Education Network of the State of Paraíba.
