Caracterização do arranjo físico e percepção de colaboradores sobre o refeitório para funcionários de um hotel carioca
Abstract
The physical structure and service of the cafeteria for employees of lodging facilities can impact the lives of these employees and the dynamics of the establishment itself, especially with regard to aspects of quality of life of the worker. Considering the importance of this physical area for occupational health, this work aimed to characterize the physical layout (layout) of the cafeteria for employees of a lodging facility (LF) located in Barra da Tijuca, a district in the city of Rio de Janeiro, as well how to know the perception of these individuals about the space in question. For this purpose, a checklist designed to evaluate the conditions of phys ical arrangement and ambience, and a questionnaire to interview 19 employees of the LF were used as research instruments. It should be noted that this cafeteria did not serve meals prepared in the exclusive kitchen for the guests' restaurant. After data collection carried out in the field, two 5W1H action plans were elaborated, based on the verified non-conformities. It is noteworthy that the items not as observed can influence the habitability of the space and its safety, a fact that highlights the relevance of using tools for quality management, such as action plans, aiming to improve the Quality of Life at Work (QLW) of those employees.
