Perfil e nível de satisfação de turistas do programa turismo social Sesc no litoral paranaense
Abstract
The International Organization of Social Tourism (OITS) conceptualizes social tourism as the actions that contribute to making the departure on vacation and the tourist activities accessible to the largest number of people, in a sustainable and supportive way. Commonly, directed at social layers that would not be able to travel with their own resources. In this sense, this work addressed social tourism in Brazil and presented a survey with tourists of the Social Tourism Program of the Social Service of Commerce (SESC), on the coast of the state of Paraná (PR), aiming to identify the profile and level of satisfaction of users of the aforementioned program, on the coast of Paraná. In methodological terms, this study is an descriptive research, whose approach is quantiqualitative. Data were collected from the application of 100 questionnaires to tourists from seven Brazilian states and the Federal District. The results revealed that tourists were mostly non-merchants and many of them were already retired. Regarding the age of tourists, it was found that 45% are in the age group between 61 and 75 years. Regarding family income, 75% of the loved ones had a monthly family income above R$ 3,000.00, and almost half of them claimed to have an income higherthan R$ 5,000.00. In terms of quality and level of satisfaction when visiting the destination, it was found that 73% of the respondents did not know the region and that 44% of them would return, thus presenting satisfaction regarding the coast of Paraná.
