O El uso de la realidad aumentada y la experiencia turística: una revisión bibliográfica sistemática en la base de datos Scopus

Resumen

La Realidad Aumentada ha evolucionado a lo largo de los años y su uso se ha extendido a otros ámbitos, como el turístico. Por tanto, este artículo tiene los siguientes objetivos: exponer las principales tendencias en la literatura sobre realidad aumentada y turismo; detectar objetivos, contextos y enfoques de la realidad aumentada en el turismo e identificar los principales estudios sobre la realidad aumentada y la experiencia turística a través del análisis de la Base de Datos, Scopus. Como metodología para lograr estos objetivos, se establecieron criterios para la selección de artículos, mediante el uso de palabras clave como realidad aumentada, turismo y experiencia turística. Se realizó una síntesis de conocimientos, posibilitando la percepción de lo que ya se sabe sobre el tema y lo que aún puede ser investigado, además de apuntar rumbos para futuras investigaciones y algunas limitaciones de los estudios. Se puede concluir que la realidad aumentada influye en la experiencia turística y si se planifica de la mejor manera puede contribuir a crear experiencias memorables. La principal limitación del estudio es el hecho de que se trata de una revisión sistemática de la literatura utilizando solo una base de datos y, por lo tanto, se sugiere una revisión sistemática actualizada y otras bases de datos como relevantes para futuras investigaciones.
