A RELAÇÃO ENTRE MODELOS DE NEGÓCIOS E CAPACIDADE INOVATIVA NAS ORGANIZAÇÕES: UMA REVISÃO DA LITERATURA

Abstract

The literature points out that companies that have disruptive business models are those that are able to position themselves differently in their different markets by creating value for their customers, thus obtaining competitive advantages. The creation and maintenance of competitive advantage requires innovative strategies which, in turn, are anchored in the innovative capacity of each organization. However, no literature reviews were found in national or international academic bases that correlate the themes ‘business models’ and ‘innovative capacity’ in management literature. Therefore, the objective is to map and analyze international scientific production in the area of management on the associated topics of Business Models and Innovative Capacity, combining a bibliometric review with an integrative review of articles published, between 2013 and 2022, in the Web of Science database. 57 articles were analyzed in the bibliometric review and 14 in the integrative review, and the results point to a still recent connection between the themes and that the studies focus on the dynamics of the innovation process in organizations and concepts such as open innovation, treating the components of business models in a complementary way.
