Resumo

Uma leitura crítica e metodologicamente orientada do argumento de Marx sobre as determinações da forma-valor do produto do trabalho no primeiro capítulo de O capital contribui para a crescente literatura sobre a estrutura dialética da crítica de Marx à economia política, trazendo à tona aspectos frequentemente negligenciados de seu argumento. Em primeiro lugar, é traçada uma distinção crucial entre os respectivos papéis dos momentos de análise e síntese na investigação dialética e como eles se refletem na exposição ou apresentação dialética. Em segundo lugar, a forma específica do processo analítico no método dialético é tematizada. O artigo rastreia as implicações de todos esses aspectos metodológicos para uma compreensão adequada da estrutura da discussão de Marx sobre o trabalho abstrato como substância do valor nas páginas iniciais de O capital.

Guido Starosta, Universidad Nacional de Quilmes

é Doutor em Sociologia pela Universidade de Warwick (Reino Unido). Pesquisador do Conicet da Universidade Nacional de Quilmes (UNQ). Professor titular do Departamento de Economia e Administração da UNQ e professor de cursos de pós-graduação em diferentes universidades nacionais. Ele é o autor de Capital, Método e Subjetividade Revolucionária de Marx e co-editor do In Marx's Laboratory. Interpretações críticas da Grundrisse e da Nova Divisão Internacional do Trabalho. Transformação global e desenvolvimento desigual .
