Performances da Contraviolência na obra "Bandido" (1976-1977), de Robson Pereira Da Silva
Abstract
The review seeks to understand the place of the interpreter in Brazilian Popular Music (MPB) through the figure of Ney Matogrosso, subject of research by Robson Pereira da Silva, which resulted in the work entitled NEY MATOGROSSO... BEYOND THE BUSTIE: PERFORMANCES OF COUNTERVIOLENCE IN THE WORK BANDIDO (1976-1977). Throughout history, the work of composers has been valued, that is, the lyrics, the logocentric aspect of the song, but in addition to the text part, it is also necessary to pay attention to the interpreters, as they cannot be summarized only to those who give voice to composition, through which the logos and melos relationship is embodied. Therefore, I will investigate how Ney Matogrosso uses characters in his shows, such as the bandit, and through them he criticizes society.
