Abstract

During the first half of 2023, a study lamp was developed based on Integrated Product Planning methodologies. In this way, the design process was integrated with marketing planning and the production process of new products. Taking the principles and techniques of Design management, it was possible to search in other areas of knowledge, such as administration and communication, for tools to validate design ideas. At the end of the semester, a complete business model was built, centered on a specific product. The development of the project was based on the methods of Lígia Sampaio de Medeiros (2010) and Luiz Antonio Vidal de Negreiros Gomes (2010), based on their analysis of Integrated Product Planning, suggested by a group of Scandinavians led by professor Lars Hein (1987).
