Active Methodologies in Business Administration Education: Students' Perceptions on the Development of Competencies
percepções dos discentes sobre o desenvolvimento de competências
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the perception of business administration students regarding the application of Activity-Based Learning in the Digital Business discipline. It is a qualitative and exploratory study conducted with students from a public higher education institution. The activity involved the creation of digital businesses in groups, stimulating problem-solving and the integration of theory and practice. The results indicate that the methodology contributes to the development of skills such as teamwork, critical thinking, and creativity, in addition to bridging the gap between the academic environment and professional demands. However, difficulties related to student adaptation and group dynamics were observed, highlighting the need for prior preparation for the effective application of the methodology.
