Abstract
Prioritizing health and safety in the workplace is essential for all companies, regardless of their size or sector of activity, as it not only contributes to improving the quality of life of employees, but also boosts productivity and reduces related costs. absences and accidents. With the COVID-19 pandemic, new challenges have emerged, highlighting the importance of reviewing practices and implementing strategies to protect workers' health. This descriptive and qualitative case study has the main objective of investigating Risk Management focused on hygiene and safety at work in Company X, analyzing its policies and practices. Interviews were conducted with three managers, using a semi-structured interview protocol and Bardin's Content Analysis technique (1977) was used to analyze and interpret the results, creating categories and subcategories. The results reveal that the organization studied carries out risk management and demonstrates a clear concern for the physical safety of employees. However, in relation to emotional safety, there is a lack of actions or protocols that guarantee the psychological well-being of workers.
