Utilização das hashtags na promoção turística: uma análise do uso da #ondeiremfortaleza através do empreendimento colosso fortaleza
Abstract
Communication is used in various areas of knowledge, especially in tourism, to express verbal and non-verbal aspects. In marketing, it plays a fundamental role in promoting tourist destinations on social media. It is through social networks that companies expose their products and services to more people, breaking the geographical barrier that once existed. In this context, this study aimed to analyze the impact of the hashtag #ondeiremfortaleza, used in the images published on the Instagram page @colosso.fortaleza, in the process of choosing Fortaleza/Ceará (CE) as a tourist destination. The methodology adopted follows an interpretative approach, with intentional sampling based on content analysis (Bardin, 1977). The results of this research highlight the importance of using hashtags in promoting a destination, increasing its visibility, and arousing the interest of potential visitors. Consequently, this increases the flow of tourists in the area. It is concluded that the use of hashtags in promoting destinations is of significant relevance to gain views from potential tourists considering visiting the destination.
