Tourism experience and forgotten tradition
Abstract
This work, in form of POINT OF VIEW, seeks to sustain that the so-called Tourism Experience is not just a market niche aimed at an audience interested in less standardized travel. On the contrary, Tourism Experience is a new theoretical corpus that, since the 2000s, has sought to counter the idea that tourism is an oculocentric and extraordinary practice. For problematize that, two contemporary tourist experiences were chosen: the dark tourism and the slum tourism.
