Abstract

The objective of this study was to survey the number of papers in the ABPN Journal from 2010 to 2024. Within this, to survey the number of articles on Education, on Special and Inclusive Education, on neurodiversity and on giftedness. The method was documentary, exploratory and quantitative. The results were 1,054 articles, 330 in Education, 3 in Special and Inclusive Education and none on neurodiversity or giftedness. The relation among racism, giftedness and education was debated where common sense representations about giftedness are also influenced, at least in part, by racism. Identification and development of black gifted people right from childhood have been harmed. It is considered that the social system invalidates and even excludes efficiencies, as well as the importance of an anti-racist stance and the construction of spaces inside and outside formal education to recognize the existence gifted people and their potential.
