THE FRACTURE IN THE PLACE OF ENUNCIATION

Abstract

This article aims at a genealogy of fracture in the place of enunciation, locating it, geographically and historically, from a theoretical decolonial perspective. Thus, we examine the concepts of coloniality of language (VERONELLI, 2015; 2021), linguistic colonization (MARIANI, 2004), linguistic racism (NASCIMENTO, 2019) and the imaginary of languages ​​(GLISSANT, 1996; 2005) It is intended to question the crystallized and instituted forms in the imaginary of languages, about language and their respective speakers, in order to highlight their historicity - that is, denaturalize them - interpreting them as geographically and historically constructed situations or phenomena. To this end, we proceeded to read and interpret the dramaturgical text Une Tempête, by Aimé Césaire (2008) in interlocution with the poem “América Negra”, by Elio Ferreira (2014), centering our analysis on the appropriation of language as an agency in the face of the fracture and colonial difference of language by their respective protagonists.
