Abstract

In human societies, the invention of technologies has served as a way to bring greater practicality and well-being to man, adapting the environment to his needs. With this, we can understand that the use of technologies has transformed the ways of living, sharing knowledge and interacting socially, a fact that has had repercussions in changes in the educational process. In this regard, the perception that links digital technologies to the concept of quality education and, consequently, current educational needs has emerged. Combined with this, the concept of democratic and participatory school management has emerged, in which all members of the school community are able to participate in decision-making in favor of the collective educational interest. From this perspective, this article seeks to investigate the advantages and challenges of the insertion of technologies in the educational field and how democratic school management cooperates with teaching based on education 4.0.
