BODY, "ESCREVIVÊNCIA" AND DISSIDENCY: Control Strategies and Resistance Tactics in the Educational Daily Life

Abstract

Over the last ten years in the Brazilian scenario, an obstinate discursive offensive has emerged, aimed at capturing sexualities and imposing behavioral standards guided by anatomical determinism. This machinery of power, capillary in digital networks, parliamentary discourses, and everyday school life, operates by invisibilizing and pathologizing dissident existences that fracture the hegemonic binary system. This article analyzes the categories of body, identity, and gender from a post-structuralist perspective, investigating the regulatory frameworks that attempt to domesticate these subjects. By enrolling myself in the research fabric as the very dissident body under analysis, I adopt autoethnography and escrevivência as political refusals to assume a sterile positivist neutrality. Methodologically, the work is anchored in the textual configuration of Mortatti (1999), establishing a critical tension with Michel de Certeau’s (1989) formulations on institutional strategies of control and everyday tactics of insubmission, in dialogue with the cultural pedagogies of the body of Guacira Lopes Louro (2004). The analytical path indicates that, although structures seek to build spaces of docility and imprisonment, the school ground pulses as a porous territory, where the microphysical astuteness of the margins operates detours and ensures the reinvention of life.
