A LUDICIDADE COMO FATOR CONTRIBUTIVO PARA O DESENVOLVIMENTO INTEGRAL DE CRIANÇAS E ADOLESCENTES EM SITUAÇÃO DE ACOLHIMENTO: UM OLHAR ACADÊMICO

Abstract

This study is the result of the experience, of the socializing and participation in the Extension Project entitled “Playfulness: A Tool for the Integral Development of Children and Adolescent in Reception Situation”, developed in the Unit of Reception of Aquidauana city, state of Mato Grosso do Sul, aiming to introduce games, toys and plays in carrying out the proposed activities, respecting the development level in which the children and adolescents are at the moment, in favor to interest and motivation in their participation and achievement. We adopted as a methodology a bibliographic research, searching in the relevant literature texts that contributed to the understanding of the playful aspects, among them: Kishimoto (1996); Vygotsky (1984) e Santos (1997); and action research, with empirical basis, because we participated in the referred project. As a technical instrument, it was used interviews to know the positions of the sheltered people, staff and the institution´s coordination. It appears that the playfulness contributes to the integral development and self-esteem by facilitating the stimulation of the most diverse areas of knowledge and enriches the interaction between academics and students, favoring the formation of more active and secure citizens.
