Abstract

This work consists of identifying the main disorders shown by students, especially in early childhood education to primary education. In this study’s scope, inclusive education is a fundamental premise in the search for a more equitable and fairer society. In this context, curriculum adaptation arises as an essential tool to assure that disabled students can fully participate in the educational process. Before the diversity of abilities and necessities that are present in classrooms, it becomes crucial for the teacher to comprehend and meet the specificities of these students, granting them enriching educational opportunities. Like so, the teachers must offer specific strategies and resources to attend the students with disabilities’ individual demands. This service aims promoting equality of access to knowledge and this public’s permanence in school, considering each student’s peculiarities. By approaching the intersection between the specialized educational service and the curriculum adaptation, it becomes essential to analyze the challenges and advancements of this scenario in contemporary educational context. The deep comprehension of such practices helps not only the disabled students’ academical development, but also the enrichment of the educational ambient as a whole. It’s about a documentary, bibliographic research. Follow the studies of authors such: Silva (2011), Moysés and Collares (2010), Kanner (1972), and others. Considering the singularity of target- audience students in special education, the educational institution must provide a improviment in quality of life, upon integration and participation in school community’s projects.
